Long Street Theatre

An un-built (student) project for an experimental theatre in vibrant Long Street, designed to interact with the street life. 

The circulation of the building is turned inside out and articulated as a promenade which takes visitors through a full set of unexpected views and interactions with the theatre: its inner workings, underbelly, the street and into the main auditorium.

Expressive use of sustainable and passive energy devices, including wind channeling roof elements, custom designed wind turbines and solar cladding.

The Program of the theatre is further extended, turning every space into a potential zone of theatre and interaction, both on and off stage.
